Physical characterization of biochar and biocoke
We offer several methods for determining the physical properties of biochar for R&D or quality assurance purposes:
Specific surface area and pore size distribution using nitrogen adsorption (BET method) - ISO 9277
Bulk density (e.g., EN ISO 17828 or other applicable method depending on the specific sample matrix)
Particle size distribution
A broad range of additional testing services for biochar samples is also available, including SEM imaging for detailed structural and morphological analysis, determination of basic fuel quality parameters, and chemical composition analysis (bulk composition and impurities). Use the form below to request a quote for the required analyses.
