Horizontal impact test for corrugated cardboard
This test is used to determine the effect of a vertical impact on the horizontal edge of finished and filled cardboard containers. In the test, the packaging is placed on a carriage that is rolled against an impact apparatus. The test can be performed as a single test or as a series of impact tests to evaluate the packaging's ability to perform in environments with a horizontal impact hazard.
