Force and elongation of textiles – strip method

This test is used to determine the breaking force and elongation of fabrics and textiles. This test is not recommended for fabrics with high stretch (over 11%), but it can be used for most other fabrics.

Suitable sample matrices: Woven and knitted fabrics
