Seam tensile properties of textile products

Determines the strength of straight seams in fabrics and apparel when a force is applied perpendicular to the seam. The method is applicable to most fabrics, but typically not for geotextiles, coated textiles, nonwovens, textile-glass woven fabrics and fabrics made from carbon fibres.
