Food contact compliance testing of single-use nitrile gloves (BfR XXI/1)

Test package for single-use nitrile gloves to assess food contact compliance according to BfR XX1/1 and Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004.

The package includes the following tests:

• Overall migration testing for all foodstuffs (simulants A, B, and D2)

• Sensory testing according to DIN 10955

• Specific migration of lead, zinc, and aluminum according to BfR XXI/1.

• Specific migration of primary aromatic amines

• Specific migration of acrylonitrile

• Specific migration of butadiene

• Content of butadiene in the final product

Not included in the package, but can be analyzed separately:

• Colorfastness

• Release of N-nitrosamines and nitrosatable substances

• Release of secondary aliphatic amines

• Release of formaldehyde

• Transfer of antimicrobial components (EN 1104)
