Microplastics in natural water or wastewater with the micro-FTIR method
Determination of microplastics in wastewater, natural waters, and other water samples that require digestion due to the possible presence of solid particles.
The analysis is performed using FTIR microspectroscopy, and the results will specify different types of polymers by size, for example, 10–50 µm, 50–100 µm, 100–500 µm, and >500 µm.
Special water matrices (process water, industrial water, etc.) can also be analyzed, but additional preparation steps may be required, which will be reflected in the price.
