Conductivity of aqueous extracts of paper, board or pulp

With this test, performed according to the ISO 6587 standard, the conductivity of water extracts (hot or cold) from a paper, board, or pulp sample is measured.

The extraction is performed with deionized water, therefore the results may vary slightly from samples taken in mill process conditions. The test is not suited for papers used for electrical purposes or high-purity papers.
