Anions in ultrapure water

Analysis for determining the anion content of ultrapure water samples using ion chromatography (IC). The quantification of the following seven anions with the following typical LOQs is included within the scope of the service:

  • Bromide (Br-), 0.015 ppb

  • Chloride (Cl-), 0.010 ppb

  • Fluoride (F-), 0.005 ppb

  • Nitrate (NO3-), 0.020 ppb

  • Nitrite (NO2-), 0.005 ppb

  • Phosphate (PO43-), 0.010 ppb

  • Sulfate (SO42-), 0.010 ppb

Quantification limits are higher for samples with higher levels of impurities, as they will need to be diluted to avoid equipment saturation.

Samples must be collected in containers designed for ultrapure water. We can provide the required sample vessels upon request.
