Total organic fluorine (TOF) or adsorbable organic fluorine (AOF) in water

Measurement of total or adsorbable organic fluorine in water samples, including drinking water, natural water, and wastewater, using a combustion ion chromatography (CIC) method.

The analysis can be used to evaluate the overall presence of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), but it cannot identify individual compounds. For targeted analysis, see our analysis packages for PFAS in clean water samples and PFAS in wastewater samples.
