Specific migration of 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane, commonly known as bisphenol A or BPA, from a plastic sample or material intended for food contact.
Bisphenol A [CAS: 80-05-7] is listed under FCM No. 151 and Ref No. 13480/13607 in European Commission Regulation No 10/2011 with an SML value of 0.05 mg/kg of food.
