Specific migration of poly((R)-3-hydroxybutyrate-co-(R)-3-hydroxyhexanoate) (PHBH, CAS 147398-31-0) from a plastic food contact material.
The compound is listed under FCM 1059 in Annex I of European Regulation No 2011/10. The specific migration limit (SML) of 5 mg/kg is applied to all PHBH oligomers with molecular weight below 1,000 Dalton.
