Internal bond strength of paper or board (Z-direction)
This test is used to provide insight into the performance of coated fine papers, adhesion at carton side seams, and more. In the test, a tape is placed on both sides of the test specimen, the sample is pulled apart in the z-direction, and the force required to delaminate the paper is measured.
