Allergens (ELISA) - peanut
Quantitative analysis of peanut or peanut protein in food, feed, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and environmental samples with the ELISA method.
Peanut is listed in Annex II of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 as a substance or product causing allergies or intolerances. If used in the manufacture or preparation of a food product, indication and emphasis in the list of ingredients is mandatory. If the product possibly and unintentionally contains peanuts, a voluntary indication is recommended.
To minimize the risk of cross-reactions, the most appropriate ELISA kit is selected based on sample composition.
