Light blocking effect of textiles: Spectrophotometric Method

The method spectrophotometrically measures the light blocking properties of textiles (typically curtains or drapes) against light passing through them according to standard AATCC 203. The test in conducted with spectrophotometric measuring equipment that produces precise and reproducible results. The results are presented in percentages (%).

Fabrics: knits, wovens, and non-wovens but not suitable for mesh structures with holes larger than 3mm across
