Bacterial endotoxins - LAL test according to USP <85> or EP 2.6.14

Bacterial endotoxin tests, also known as Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) tests, are used to detect endotoxins in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, and their raw materials to evaluate the pyrogenic potential of the material. Endotoxins are components of gram-negative bacteria that are common contaminants in manufacturing processes.

Measurlabs provides several methods to detect and quantify bacterial endotoxins:

  • Kinetic turbidimetric assay

  • Chromogenic method

  • Kinetic chromogenic assay 

  • Gel-clot method

The displayed price includes LAL testing with a chromogenic method according to EP 2.6.14 (Ph. Eur 2.6.14) or USP <85>. One routine assay analysis for one sample is included. The price does not include method validation test. Method validation test might be needed for new samples. Please ask quote for the validation.
