Specific migration testing – melamine
Specific migration of 2,4,6-triamino-1,3,5-triazine [CAS: 108-78-1], better known as melamine, from a plastic food contact material or article.
Melamine is listed as FCM No 239 with three reference numbers (19975, 25420, and 93720) in European Commission Regulation 10/2011 with an SML value of 2.5 mg/kg of food.
