Materials Testing Specialist - Semiconductors
Measurlabs is a growth company providing scientific laboratory analyses, materials characterization, and testing services for international clients in 60+ countries. Practically every company developing, manufacturing, or importing tangible products or materials needs laboratory testing services for R&D, quality control, and certification. The role
We are currently seeking a Materials Testing Expert to join our Inorganic Materials and Semiconductors team. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of scientific expertise and a client-focused mindset, ready to grow our semiconductor testing business. In this role, you’ll support clients to develop their semiconductor products, inorganic materials, and manufacturing technologies by arranging the needed testing services for them. You’ll act as the key link between our clients, who need testing services, and our partner laboratories, who conduct the tests.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying required tests based on client needs
Preparing and delivering offers to our customers together with our Sales Managers and convincing the customers to buy
Coordinating sample submissions to partner laboratories
Reporting results to clients and providing technical consultation
You will work mainly on projects related to semiconductors, thin films, and other inorganic materials. The projects will involve various analytical techniques, such as AFM, XRD, XRR, ToF-ERDA, XPS, SIMS, TEM, SEM, TXRF, VPD ICP-MS, and electrical testing. To succeed in this role, you need to be able to quickly grasp the principles, applications and limitations of different methods and communicate the topics fluently with our customers in English.

Procurement Manager

The Role
We are currently seeking a Procurement Manager to take ownership of our global partner laboratory network. This is a unique opportunity to be the first procurement hire in the company. You won’t just be stepping into an existing process; you will be the architect who builds it. We need a person who knows how to set up the foundation for systematic procurement work and execute it with a commercial mindset.
Your primary focus will be proactive: identifying the best laboratory partners globally, contacting them, and negotiating agreements that ensure we have the best network in the industry. You will act as the strategic link between Measurlabs and our supply chain.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategy Creation: Defining and implementing a subcontracting and laboratory partner strategy (determining what we buy and from where).
Network Building: Identifying, evaluating, and selecting the most promising partners for negotiations.
Deal Making: Negotiating framework agreements, SLAs, and annual contract revisions with laboratories to ensure competitive purchase prices and capacity.
Performance Management: Proactively monitoring laboratory performance and enforcing compliance regarding cost, quality, capacity, and turnaround times.
Operations: Managing legal agreements, administrative procurement tasks, and acting as the point of contact for escalations.
Indirect Procurement: Leading processes for major indirect purchases (e.g., occupational healthcare, office space).
What we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you need to be a builder. We are looking for someone who enjoys the thrill of the hunt when finding new partners and has the tenacity to close favorable deals.
Experience: At least 5 years of procurement experience in a senior specialist or managerial role.
Industry Knowledge: Experience procuring complex B2B services (e.g., life sciences, professional services) is highly ideal.
Track Record: Proven ability to own supplier relationships end-to-end and deliver tangible bottom-line results (cost savings).
Communication: Fluent in English. Fluency in Finnish, Swedish, Polish, German, or French is a benefit.
Location: Based in Helsinki or willing to commute to our Helsinki office frequently.

Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Measurlabs is a growth company bringing scientific testing services to customers in 70+ countries. We work with hundreds of partner labs globally, giving companies easy access to the best testing services in the world. Currently we are at 5.5 M€ revenue run rate, with a team of 43 employees. Our tech team consists of two senior developers and a UX designer, who also acts as a team lead. This year our goal is to grow to 10 M€ in revenue, hire 10 new people, and be profitable at the end of the year. This year we’re also expanding our operations to Germany and the UK.
The Role
We are looking for senior full-stack engineers to help build the systems that power our global operations. We need developers who understand the full picture from infrastructure to the end-user experience, and have the technical maturity to create reliable, scalable and secure production systems.
You’ll work directly with the team and end-users to solve real business problems with full-stack ownership of the solutions. As we are hiring multiple people, your past focus can be either on backend, data engineering and infrastructure or frontend, user experience and product management.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Stack Ownership: create solutions ranging the full technical stack from database to UI
Infrastructure & DevOps: design, implement and maintain the necessary infrastructure. Experience with GCP and Infrastructure as Code is a strong plus.
Data Engineering: Design and implement data pipelines and dashboards to support the growing analytic needs of our business.
Product & UX: translate business and user needs into technical solutions, working closely with non-technical stakeholders, our UX designer and fellow developers.
What we are looking for
To succeed, you must be a builder with a sense of ownership, and a passion for user-centric software development in close collaboration with a team.
Experience: Ability to operate across the stack and senior-level proficiency in either backend, data, and infrastructure or frontend, UX and product management
Technical Mindset: Solid understanding of modern cloud and data engineering principles.
Design Sense: An eye for product design and UX is a plus.
Soft Skills: A proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to explain complex tech to users.
Language: Fluent English.
Location: Helsinki-based at our office in Vallila. We work mostly in the office but are flexible with a hybrid model.
Experience with TypeScript, Node, React, GCP and PostgreSQL is a plus.

The role
We’re looking for a proactive, results-driven Technical Sales Manager to accelerate the growth of our chemical and environmental testing business across Finland and wider European markets.
