Fluorine (F) content in solid fuels
Determination of fluorine content in solid fuels according to the EN 15408 method. The fluoride content of the sample will be obtained by distillation with overheated water vapor of a solution in phosphoric acid or by pyrolitic treatment in a humid oxygen flow. In the obtained solution, the fluoride content will be determined by a photometric or electrometric method. This method is also applicable to determine the total contents of S, Cl, and Br. The results will be reported in units mg/kg.
