Biobased carbon content of diesel and biofuel samples according to ASTM D6866

The biobased carbon content of liquid biofuels according to ASTM D6866 indicates how much of the sample's carbon content is from renewable resources. The method includes the removal of inorganic carbon if necessary before testing. Biobased carbon content according to this method does not indicate how much of the sample weight is biobased, it only refers to total or organic carbon. The method is based on analyzing different carbon isotopes in the sample using accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS). NOTE: The required sample quantity for the analysis is only 0.3 - 0.5 ml per sample (not more). We cannot accept samples that contain artificial carbon-12, carbon-13, or carbon-14 isotopes because they will cause damage to equipment. If you have more than 10 samples or you would need this analysis with express delivery time for the results, ask for an offer.
