Biobased carbon content of diesel and biofuel (ASTM D6866)
The biobased carbon content of liquid biofuels indicates the proportion of organic carbon that originates from renewable resources.
The method is based on analyzing different carbon isotopes in the sample using accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS). If necessary, the price of the analysis includes the removal of inorganic carbon before testing.
NOTE: The required sample quantity for the analysis is only 0.3 - 0.5 ml per sample (not more). We cannot accept samples that contain artificial carbon-12, carbon-13, or carbon-14 isotopes because they will cause damage to the equipment.
Please ask for an offer if you have more than 10 samples or need the analysis with express delivery.
