Analysis of deoxynivalenol (DON) in food, feed, and supplement products. DON is a mycotoxin produced by certain Fusarium fungi. According to EU regulations, materials that potentially require testing include:

  • Unprocessed cereals

  • Pasta

  • Bread

  • Processed, cereal-based baby foods

Compliance can be evaluated using the following regulations:

  • Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/915 on food contaminants

  • Directive 2002/32/EC on undesirable substances in animal feed

  • Commission Regulation (EC) 401/2006 on sampling and analysis of mycotoxins
